[Plugin: Contextual Related Posts] Plugin picks up image desc. text

Hi,
If there is an image embedded in a post right at the beginning then the plugin picks up image description text (if there is any below the pic and “Show post excerpt in list” option is checked). Any chance/fix to amend that?
