[Plugin: Contextual Related Posts] Not seeing related posts in RSS feed

Martin, it seems like that you are using your excerpt for displaying the feeds and not the full feed. The related posts don’t display in the excerpt

It used to work fine in the ‘other’ related posts plugin I used before.
Why would it be excluded from excepts based feeds?

Martin, the plugin wasn’t built to include the related posts in excerpts, because normally you wouldn’t want to have a short post with the excerpt and the rest would be filled with related posts.

However, I can put this on my to-do list to give an option for users to select if they want this in the excerpt as well.

It’s all about providing choice to both site owners as well as RSS or mail list subscribers.
Even in an excerpt, providing related post topics can spark a click through on an interesting sounding title.

There should also be a number configuration for how many related topics to include in the feed too – I know I used to just include 2 because, as you mention, it can seem a bit of overkill when it’s an excerpt.

Thanks for the feedback. I’ll put this on my TODO list. I intend to give more control on where the related posts are displayed, so this would be a good addition to that feature
