    Hi,

    I installed wordpress in July, before writing content I decide to change the permalink to /%category%/%postname%.html after writing about 20 content in mid-August, I installed your plugin and registered my website to Google Webmaster.

    A few days ago when logged into google, I get notification if all posts on my website linking to 404 Not found pages. For examples:

    mysite.com/1st-category/my1stpost.html linking to --> mysite.com/1st-category/134564748480000
    mysite.com/2nd-category/my2ndpost.html linking to --> mysite.com/2nd-category/134560846340000
    mysite.com/3rd-category/my3rdpost.html linking to --> mysite.com/3rd-category/134526384920000

    and so on, and now I found 89 not found (404) pages …

    I dont know where “/1345…..0000” pages come from, is this wordpress permalink issue ? or your plugin issues ? since I don’t know much about mySQL.

    Would appreciate some feedback/advice to remove the 404 pages

    Regards,
    Feronica

    I don’t see how it could be an issue with the plugin, since it just pulls out the permalink that WordPress has.

    When you check the links generated by the plugin what do you notice?

    Few things worth checking are:
    1. Did you regenerate permalinks? Try resaving the settings in Settings > Permalinks
    2. Install a Sitemaps plugin and generate a sitemap, check what links you have here. It’s good to have Google to have a sitemap
    3. Install SEO Ultimate. It has a 404 tracker which is pretty useful to see if there are any particular referring URLs

    Nevermind Ajay, the problems come from Disqus comment & Google it self.
    Sorry about that, your plugin awesome.
