[Plugin: Content Scheduler] Change category but not place in draft or pending

Is it possible for CS to change the category of a post at a chosen date & time but not place the post in trash or pending or indeed delete.

I have succeeded in sorting out a cron job which changes the category of a post at a given date & time but I cannot keep the post out of either draft or pending list.

Any advice is welcome.
