• I am brand new to WordPress. I told someone I’d help them with their page because I figured I could just ssh into the server and change the code myself if I couldnt figure it out in WordPress. Hours later, I am admit I am wrong.

I am trying to set the form post action on a site that uses the Contact Form 7 plugin to specific URL. I have not been able to figure out how to do this.

Would someone mind telling me where in the plug-in (or possibly somewhere else in worpress? I’ve looked ‘everywhere’) I can set this?

When I try to edit the page in wordpress, the HTML tab is blank.

When I view the source of the page in a browser, I see this info:
    <div class="wpcf7" id="wpcf7-f74-t1-o1"><form action="/#wpcf7-f74-t1-o1" method="post" class="wpcf7-form">
but I havent been able to figure out where that info is coming from.

    Thank you!

Thanks but I really did read both of those and still dont see it. I just want to set the form action and as far as I can tell every other form element is mentioned except the form tag itself.

Bear in mind that I am not the plugin’s developer – just a long time user of this plugin. ?? That said, I don’t think you can re-direct the form’s action to another url. That’s simply not the way in which it works. Can I ask why you want to do this? Perhaps there’s another solution.

That is absolutely bizarre that it can’t be changed. But also kind of makes me feel better since I have been trying/failing all afternoon.

Why: He’s got some outside company that wrote him a custom script. They keep the script on their servers and just give you a link to it.

What does this 3rd party script do?
