[Plugin: Contact Form 7 to Database Extension] Submissions Not Saving To DB?!

  • Hello all

    I have just updated CFDB to 2.2.6 and FSCF to 3.1.2(I think?) but after these updates I cannot view the table of submissions via the shortcode that pulls data from my web server.

    On the shortcode builder page I cannot select a form from the dropdown, all I can see is “select a form” whereas before my forms were visible..

    I have tried downgrading these plugins from a site backup but it isn’t fixing the problem. Does anyone know whats happening and how I can fix this?

    I’ve tested the running contact forms and submissions are being emailed as they should. Just the CFDB plugin seems to have stopped working.

  • Since the update of the plugin synchronically with FS Contact Form (also updated) on 9th of February the data is not anymore recorded.
    I checked the database to exclude a get data bug.
    So which one of the two plugins is causing this bug needs to be investigated.
    Nice and useful plugin especially you realize its importance when it stops working!

    Nothing have changed in recent FS Contact Form versions that would cause that.

    after trying all kind of stuff to tget the data again be saved in the database we removed finally the entries in the Data Export: tab such as:
    Data export fields to ignore
    Data export fields to rename
    since then it works fine again and all data is saved to DB.

    Another thing, if I have 3 forms.
    The URL to redirect page after submit is automatically filled in at form 2 and 3 when you create them. The contact form redirects to this page even if the checkbox in tab Redirect: form is not activated. After removing the URL all works fine.

    I cannot duplicate the redirect problem
    Do you have a page caching plugin installed on WordPress?
    try empty the cache.
