I’m trying to use a form to capture credit card info and place it in a database. I can’t legally store the CVV code so I want that alone to be emailed from the contact form but not stored in the database. Is there a way to exclude just one field from being stored in the database?

    Thanks for the excellent plug-in!

Good idea. I put this feature in version 1.4. In Database Options you can specify names of fields to exclude from being saved in the DB.

Thanks! Excellent plug in. Appreciate your work on it. You should add a ‘donate’ button to the dashboard page of the plug in.

You read my mind. You will in fact get a ‘donate’ button with your upgrade to version 1.4. (Hopefully the WP site will show 1.4 as the current version soon…seems to take a while).

I’ll be sure and donate as soon as the new version shows up.

BTW for anyone who might be following this. It turns out that emailing the CVV code from a credit card is also illegal. The only way to legally use that information, as per the PCI DSS is for live online approval and processing.
