Plugin Contact Form 7 – Shows red rectangular box

  • Hello
    Since a few days my contact form shows an empty red rectangular box below the form fields.

    Before this was only shown after someone pressed the subscription button. Then inside the box the information was displayed that there will be an email to confirm the subscription. This still works like that, but I have noch clue how to get rid of the empty box as lon as the form is not used.

    Hope anyone can help.

    What other plugins and theme do you use on the site?

    Have the same issue using Avada Theme. Didn’t install any new plugin. CF7 worked fine untill 5.20 version.

    I use several plugins. But I didn’t integrate new once since the issue appeared. As Carlos metioned it worked fine until the last update.

    Installed Plugins:
    Yoast SEO, Duplicate Post, WP Fastes Cache, WP Forms, URL Shortener by MyThemeShop,Titan Anti-spam & Security,Social Feed Gallery,Responsive Posts Carousel,Ocean Extra,Hero Menu,FooGallery,FooBox Image Lightbox,Elementor – Header, Footer & Blocks,Elementor,Contact Form 7 Extension For Mailchimp,Contact Form 7,Before After Image Comparison Slider for Elementor

    I’m having (I think) the same issue… as of recent updates, the wpcf7-response-output DIV (yellow, in my case) appears when the page loads, before the form is submitted.

    ***EDIT — I’ve rolled back CF7 plugin to 5.1.9 and it seems to be working properly again***
