[Plugin: Contact Form 7] Reply not working

  • Hi,

    I have setup the contact form 7 to send me the form as well as to send the person who filled in the form to receive an email.

    However when I press reply it has my email as the reply to address.

    What have I done so far:

    – Added additional headers: such as Reply-to, From

    It works with additional headers on the iPhone however when just doing it in Gmail it does not work.

    I have setup Contact form 7 as follows:

    Mail 1:
    To: [email protected]
    From: “[your-name]” <[your-email]>
    Subject: Contact – [your-subject]

    Additional Headers:
    From: “[your-name]” <[your-email]>
    Reply-to: “[your-name]” <[your-email]>

    —

    Mail 2:
    To: [your-name] <[your-email]>
    From: “Website NAME” <[email protected]>
    Subject: [your-subject]

    Additional Headers:
    Reply-to: “Website NAME” <[email protected]>

    —

    With WP-MAIL-SMTP:

    I have it setup to send through gmail using “Send all WordPress emails via SMTP.” option.

    I have this same problem. Same configuration.

    However, I do not always get the wrong reply address, only sometimes.

    I just started forwarding emails received through our website to Zendesk which makes this an even bigger problem.

    Any ideas?
