[Plugin: Contact Form 7] Recent Spam increase on Contact Forms

Over the last week, several of my sites, which are independent from each other, have all experienced a flux of spam hitting it.
The messages are normally just long & don’t try to sell you anything, it’s just long stories of nonsense like this:
“I have had this watch since around October 2009. It wokerd perfectly until about two months ago. It takes several attempts to get the watch and the wearlink strap to sync. There it just stops during the workout. I have changed the battery in both the watch and the wearlink strap. I am very disappointed in the Polar company. They have given little to no support for this product and the operational manual is no help either. I am fairly certain I will not purchase another Polor product.”
I’ve tried using a Captcha and A Honeypot and spam still managed to get through.
On one site I’m using the “Bad Behavior” Plugin, which seems to have been able to tame the spam down, but i’m concerned that CF7 might have some sort of security issue.
Has anyone else had this issue recently?
