• I got some problems with the contactform 7:

1.) It works. If you pushed the submit-button a email will be sent at once …

2.) … but no confirmation will appear ever.

3.) … the two arrows will circle and never stop!

4.) I’m using a theme with a pretty dark background and I’d like to get rid of the spinning arrows, which look ugly or is there a alternative?

    Edit: …

    Same problem – no solution:

I deactivated Google XML Sitemaps and WP Super Cache as recommended – without any change :(.

  • Did you validate your page’s markup? Did you try deactivating all plugins except for Contact Form 7 and/or switching to the default theme?

Yes, I just did all of that – didn’t help. The thing is, it worked a few months ago and now, as I’m starting working on the webpage, it doesn’t. By the way, if I browse the page not allowing Javascript, it seems to work. I mean, it shows the error messages and so on. This is kind of strange and obviously I’m not alone with the problem.

    So, where is your site?

My solution: using normal form posting

Ahhh, but how do I do that?

I have the same problem but only in IE. I am running the newest wordpress 2.9 and the latest Contact Form 7 updated 1/31/10

Ajax just spins and will not send.

Checked html markup but nothing pointing to javascript errors etc..

I’ve used this on many other sites and never had this problem…

    Works in all other browsers…

This s#cks big time – i’ll get rid of that plugin right now and I will never integrate any contactform ever on my site, they always make problems, definitely sooner or later.

Tiny Contact Forms works… no problems

@tinar I had exactly the same problem and was about to give up.

However, after deleting (not just deactivating) the WP Super Cache plugin it worked like a charm.
