[Plugin: Contact Form 7] mail sent but no confirmation-Please help

  • I’ve been getting a lot of spam lately, so I installed “Really simple Captcha” and configured my mail form accordingly. The problem now is that when I click submit, the little arrows start to spin, but no green confirmation message shows up. The message itself does get delivered. Please help.

    The spinning arrow icon shows up once I submit a form, but then nothing happens.

    I did. But it’s not an issue of conflicting plugins as it works fine without the captcha. Also, as I mentioned earlier, the message gets sent successfully, it’s just that the user don’t get the confirmation.

    I had the same issue — Try to upgrade the jquery.form.js inside the plugin folder to the newest version (2.63). You can download it here: https://malsup.com/jquery/form. After that it worked fine for me.

    Note to the plugin author: Please consider to include the newest version of the jQuery Plugin into the Contact Form 7 Plugin by default.

    Thank you for the suggestion Wiederkehr. Unfortunately it didn’t help. I’m suspecting it has something to do with the captcha plugin itslef since removing the captcha code from the form resolves the issue. I decided to go captcha-less for now until I find a better solution.
