• Hi. I have a travel website, which lists around 30 hotels and resorts. Each hotel/resort property has a dedicated page, so that is around 30 pages. I want to put an enquiry (contact) form in each page, so that if the guest is interested in that particular hotel, he can fill out the enquiry (contact) page and send me an email. Is there anyway,

    1) I can create a common contact form for all the hotels, but with coding so that I can know which page the contact form originated from.

    2) Or if I can create a field in Contact form 7, the value of which I can edit in the html page. So I create a blank text field, but in the html of the page, I can enter the value of the blank field as ‘Hotel Daisy’.

Can someone help me this as I am getting more hotels who want to register on the website.

Thanking you for looking and a big thank you for your reply.

  • To fix your first request, on the email that is sent to YOU from CF7, just notate a line at the end with the URL of the page you put the form on. When a user fills in the form, the email from that specific form will notate which page it’s on.

So instead of “this email was sent to you from…” Just put “This form was filled out on THIS PAGE, or for THIS HOTEL”, etc.

Jordiniman….Thank you so very much. I tried it, it worked but then my contact form 7 stopped working. They say it is conflicting with my theme plugin. Sigh. But Thank you for your reply. Am Very grateful.

Is there a way to to do this automatically?

Your method is fine for smaller websites, but if I have a form on 300 pages I dont want to have to create 300 different forms.

    Any ideas?

Will do, I thought it would be relevant to this page. I’m new here, so please be gentle ??

    no problem ??

it does help the forum to track issues when you start a new topic for your question – however similar your problem might be to an existing topic.
