[Plugin: Contact Form 7] Get red failed message when from address is webmail (gmail, yahoo, hotmail)

  • When a user puts in a from address of gmail, yahoo, hotmail the site reports the red bordered failed message. Environment details as follows:

    Using WP-SMTP-Mail, test works, as does CF7 if not a webmail address.
    The MAIL settings are:

    To: [email protected]
    From [email protected]
    Reply-To: [form email]

    As a side note, we are using Godaddy’s relay-hosting.secureserver.net.

  • Same issue here – failing (red box) on hotmail address.

    Am also using GoDaddy, but have the SMTP plugin. Have sent a test email to same hotmail address in the SMTP plugin, and that is successful, so must be the Contact Form 7 blocking the hotmail address somewhere?
