[Plugin: Contact Form 7] From Email

  • Hello!

    I am curious how to change the from email.

    In my WordPress General settings i have my Email Address (This address is used for admin purposes, like new user notification.) set up as my business one. Though when the emails come in they are via a whole other domain – my personal one. This is also the case when an email via contact form comes through. It is being sent via my personal one, not my business one.

    Does anyone know how to change this? Is it in my core files? I registered my wordpress with my personal email when I was setting it all up, I guess it has it stored somewhere and I have not been able to override it with my “general settings”

    I′m seeing its happening the same to me.
    Are you using the native method (sendmail) or using smtp through this?

    either way, it could be that wordpress is changing the headers, not this plugin, as i have read the code for an hour or more trying to track down the problem and untill it calls wp_mail() everything is correct. from the the one you set the in configuration panel.

    i will keep let you know if i find something else.

    hi! yeah i am just using the native one. Please do let me know when you or if you find a way ??

    Do you think it would help if i just used that plugin instead?
