[Plugin: Contact Form 7] Fix for global formatting changes

Excuse my language–I don’t know if I am phrasing my question correctly:
In order to make my site more readable, I made changes to the style.css and increased spacing between letters and words to the “body.” These (and perhaps other global) changes have affected my Contact 7 form in the side bar. I was not able to correct two of the problems that remain now: (a) Left/right margins are uneven, and (b) the Send button is not large enough to display the word “Send.” My form was PERFECT before I optimized readability for the site.
Incidentally, I have a page with a “Submit” button–it too does not display correctly now.
Is there a global solution to (a) and/or (b)?
