[Plugin: Contact Form 7] Error in Opera 9.64

  • I use Contact Form 7 on my site at the following URL: https://abroadinspain.com/contact/

    The form works perfectly in every browser that I test it with except for in Opera 9.64. In Opera, the spinning arrow goes around and then finally I get an error message that says: “Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact administrator by other way.”

    Should Contact Form 7 work in Opera or is that browser not supported? If it should work, any idea why it’s not working? Thanks for your help!

  • I have the same problem with my forms (https://www.serj.ca). I also tried to install the plugin on a brand new WP installation and I had exactly the same issue.

    I believe it has something to do with the Akismet validation, because removing “akismet:author_email” etc. fixed the problem.
