[Plugin: Contact Form 7] email address seems invalid

I have installed Contact Form 7 and WordPress 2.9.2. When I try to test Contact Form 7, I keep getting the error “email address seems invalid”.
I have tried numerous different emails, and none are working.
Any help would be greatly appreciated…
