[Plugin: Contact Form 7] Doesn't send to the email account I want

I had the contact form set up to send the inquiries to my email account, now the site is finished I’ve changed the email address to the one the client uses but they don’t receive the test emails I send them…when I send the message it say’s message sent.
what do I need to do?
