[Plugin: Contact Form 7] Add extra text to dropdown

  • Does anyone know if it is possible to add extra text between select options in a dropdown menu in Contact Form 7. Example of what I need in one dropdown box:

    Dropdown list
    Administration :
    – General Enquiries
    – Administration
    – Human Resources
    Council :
    – Mayor
    – Councillors
