[Plugin: Contact Form 7] 3.1, W3 Total cache, WP nonces

    Hey guys,

    We’ve updated a few sites to 3.3.1 using contact form 7 v3.1. One of these sites is using the W3 total cache plugin. Since v3.1, contact form 7 is using the WP nonces system as announced on their website. The problem now is that cached pages using contact form 7 v3.1 that get posted are considered spam by the plugin.

    Is there any way the CF7 team is going to fix this? We’ve now disabled caching for these pages, but this is not always the best choice.

    Perhaps the use of nonces should be an option? instead of a default setting?

    Anyone?

    I have the same problem (with wp super cache), i hope you could fix it rapidly.

    I’ve fixed it in the development version. agxtimo, could you test it?

    Also, make sure your cache plugin’s garbage collection is functioning correctly. If it’s not working, users will continue to see stale cached pages.

    I think the most part of this kind of problem is caused because the garbage collection of the cache plugin is stopping. If it’s working, even v3.1 (not dev version) should be able to work.

    So, what can I do? If development version fix the problem, you’ll do an update and I will can donwload it in wordpress admin?

    ps : excuse my english, i’m french and i don’t have a hight level, especially in technical English

    I’ve tested the dev version with default caching settings activated in w3 total cache (page, browser, object and database caching activated with default settings) and every submit is successfully posted.

    I’ve tested this multiple times in different browsers, so I think this dev version is OK.

    Yannick Altuna, yes, the development version will be published as v3.1.1 soon. But more important thing is checking your chache plugin’s settings.

    I’ve tested the dev version to but i resolve my probleme only one day.
    What should I change in cache plugin’s setting?
    Do you know when you published 3.1.1 version?
