[Plugin: Contact Form 7] 2nd contact form will not work on any site

Hi has anyone got an answer to this. I have tried for hours to get a second contact form to work.

I have 2 contact forms on a site I’m working on: one in a page (main content) and the other in a sidebar on the same page.

Each contact form has its own code to copy-then-paste.

Hi thanks for the reply it’s a problem that I have tested on all our wordpress sites we create a new contact form shortcode copy it create a new page paste, save, the page the contact form appears we send the info we get a confirmation it has been sent but the email is never recieved. the original contact from always works.

Strange. If the original contact form always works, then what’s the difference between the original contact form and contact2? Please compare the Mail settings between these two forms in your WordPress admin panel. Maybe contact2 messages are just being sent to another email that you’re not looking at.

the difference is we need 2 styles of contact form but both sending to the same email address. When ever I build the second and use the same email address it will not work, if I use a different email address in the second email it will work. Cant find anything on the site that will tell me if I can’t do this, and have been trying to get an answer for a few months now.

On a site I’m working on (still in dev’t) I have 2 contact forms, one in the main content area and the other in the sidebar. Both go to the same set of email addresses (I have additional header settings for Cc: and Bcc:) and both work when tested. So there should not be a problem with using the same email address in two or more contact forms. Maybe it would help if you can post your contact form details? And the codes for each contact form?
