    waeLabdullah,

Not sure exactly the issue you’re having. There isn’t much configuration involved… Just add your email address. You can leave the Recaptcha keys the same, or insert your own if you so desire. You can also specify a class to use for links that will open the dialog.

To use it, if you’re using the default class, just do:

    <a class="nscontact-dialog" href="whatever">Open contact dialog</a>

Or, from Appearance >> Menus, click on Screen Options. Then, under Show advanced menu properties check CSS Classes. This will allow you to specify CSS Classes (optional). Use ‘nscontact-dialog’, or whatever class you specify.

I may simplify the user experience on the admin side in a future release, but I think it’s certainly not unusable, although it might require a modest understanding of html. You can feel free to contact me directly if you’re still having trouble getting it going.

    Cheers!

As I haven’t heard anything further, I’m going to mark this issue as resolved.

    Thank you,

    James

Hi, i like your form. I have it configured and entered my keys.
But when i test the form, i just see the message below:
“We’re working on sending your message”
Nothing happens afterwards, even the email is not received.
    Any solution?

    Hi jeptech,

Could you give me a bit more information, in particular, the url where you’re using it? That way, I can have a closer look and see what I can come up with.

    Thank you!

    J.

    Hi James,

I to am having a similar issue where the form will not submit, I have registered with recaptcha and have instered my keys however the recaptcha is not displayed in the form, therefor the user is unable to submit.

Click Here to see our test site.

Any help you can offer would be appreciated.

    Hi welshylad,

The link you gave doesn’t seem to have the plugin working on it.

I did do a test where I got another set of Recaptcha keys and inserted them through the admin panel, and it did seem to work. I guess the best thing is to double check that you’ve got them correctly copied and pasted in there.

If you get another testing site with the plugin active on it, I’d be happy to take a quick look.

    Cheers,

    J.

    HI James,

The site is active, the plugin is active and can be accessed by clicking on the ‘Enquire Now’ button. Incedently we are now geeting a different error in IE8, in other browsers the captcha is displayed however submitting the form does not get past ‘We’re working on sending your message’

    Many thanks, Martin

You need to install libcurl for php. This is the error returned by the mailer:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function curl_init() in /var/www/vem/wp-content/plugins/contact-dialog/lib/nscontactdialog.class.php on line 243

    Cheers,

    J.

    Hi James,

I have now installed libcurl and the form is working with the exception of IE, where it will not display the captcha so therefor will not allow form submission.

    Many thanks,
    Martin

I’ll look into that issue and release an update when I figure out what’s going on. Thank you, James

Thank you very much for the excellent support.

Hi jameslafferty, everything is configured properly. The only issue is when submitting the form after validations.
i have a test web link here :

    Hi jeptech,

You’ve found a definite bug. I wrote this in a way that depends too much on WordPress being installed on its own domain or subdomain. The issue you’re seeing is a result of its having been installed in a sub-directory. I’m going to go ahead and fix that along with the IE fix for welshylad.

Please stand by for the next version to be checked in this evening (I’m on California time).

    J.
