Just downloaded the Connections Plugin

running wordpress 3.0.1 and I’m getting this error when tying to activate it
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or ‘}’ in ******/wp-content/plugins/connections/connections.php on line 41any thoughts?
