[Plugin: Connections] ERROR: Uploaded image could not be saved

    Hello,

    I found several other posts with this same issue in the past, but they were resolved with things that I don’t have a problem with, such as permissions, etc.

    Running the latest version of WordPress and Connections, trying to add an image to an entry with the following error coming up:

    ERROR: Uploaded image could not be saved to the destination folder.

    My /wp-content/connections_images folder is set to 755 (tried 777 to see if that helped and it did not, so I switched it back). Any suggestions?

    The issue might be the path name. It should be:
    ../wp-content/connection_images

    Notice the lack of an “s” in connection.

    Please check the path name. Also, the highest permission level I would recommend is 767 not 777, but please try it as 755 first.

    Hi Steven,

    Sorry, I mistyped that. I just wrote that path name from memory. The folders were created correctly during the installation, so the path name is fine. Permissions at 755 (current), 767, and 777 also do not work.

    Any other thoughts? Thanks!

    Hi Steven,

    Thanks for your help. It turned out I needed more flexibility with the content being used in the pages I was setting up, so I just went with custom fields and customized an area of how I use WordPress pages instead of the plugin.

    Know that I do use Connections for another client and it works great. But I won’t be able to use it for this application.
