Plugin conflict WPML and Ultimate Member
-
I installed and activated Ultimate Member on my WordPress page. Afterwards all pages were giving me a HTTP 500 internal server error. So, I conducted a plugin conflict analysis (reactivated all plugins one after another) and found out that WPML was causing a conflict with Ultimate Member. When I use either WPML or Ultimate Member my page is working fine.
WPML Translation Management is also causing some Backend issues, e.g. when WPML String Translation and Ultimate Member are activated, I cannot see any of my pages in the WordPress admin area.
These are the relevant plugin versions I have currently installed:
Wordpress: Version 5.1.1
Ultimate Member: Version 2.0.49 (latest)
WPML Multilingual CMS: Version 4.2.5
WPML Media: Version 2.5.1
WPML String Translation: Version 2.10.3
WPML Translation Management: Version 2.8.4What I tried additionally:
I updated all plugins to their latest versions (WordPress and the 4 WPML plugins). This was my scenario where I first discovered the plugin conflict. After reverting WordPress back to 5.1.1 more Dashboard functions were available when using WPML and Ultimate Member together. So, from my perspective the plugin conflict becomes worse when using Worpress 5.2.1. I also rolled back the Ultimate Member plugin to several previous versions (back to version 2.0.29).I could find this information in the debug.log file of WordPress.
[17-Jun-2019 17:47:21 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught ArgumentCountError: Too few arguments to function SitePress::terms_clauses(), 1 passed in /www/htdocs/w016fe5d/pagename.de/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php on line 288 and exactly 3 expected in /www/htdocs/w016fe5d/pagename.de/wp-content/plugins/sitepress-multilingual-cms/sitepress.class.php:2525It would be great if any of the plugin developers could provide some help on this issue as I desperately need those plugins to work along with whatever version. I will be so grateful for any support on this issue!
