Thanks in advance for any insights.

We are using your plugin (v1.3.1). Not sure at what point – but before upgrading to WP 5.5 Yoast quit working.

We backed up the site(multi-site install) to a development area and disabled all plugins – turn them back on one-by-one and noted that this plugin had a conflict with Yoast.

Please advise on any further research I can do to eliminate this conflict so that we can continue to use this plugin as it is a great feature and addition for multi-site publishers.

    Thanks in advance

    Jim

    Hi Jim,

    thanks for reaching out.

I am still using IMA and Yoast SEO (free) on a multisite, but didn’t notice an issue before and after updating WP and Yoast SEO.

I personally like to use the Query Monitor plugin to detect any issues. Just enable it and visit the page that does not seem to work correctly and maybe QM shows some errors. You can also log errors using WP_DEBUG.

If that is not resulting in any useful information then you could go through the hooks registered in IMA and disable them one by one to see which is causing the issue. Knowing which hook function causes the problem might also help.

The github repository is public so you could make pull requests with changes if you find the cause of the issue and a solution.

    Thanks,
    Thomas

    Thanks Thomas

I’ll work on those suggestions this weekend and see if I can come up with something to report back

Although disabling he IMA plugin ‘fixed” Yoast Premium – disabling Classic Editor also ‘fixed it’.

I can’t seem to find the real issue – but I would marked this as solved as it clearly feels like a Yoast Premium issue with perhaps multiple plugins.

    Thanks for your feedback
