Plugin conflict with WPML

I’ve discovered a plugin conflict between WPML Multilingual CMS (latest version: 4.5.2) and BuddyPress Group Email Subscription (latest version 4.0.1)
The daily or weekly digest emails do not get delivered to BuddyBoss users when WPML Multilingual CMS is activated. When de-activated the email digest is delivered properly.
I can tell there are digest items ready to be sent by visiting the ?sum=1 queue page. After the scheduled time passes, the items no longer show up in the queue, but no emails are sent to users. I’ve tested with Gmail, Yahoo, and my own custom domain email addresses. None are received.
