Plugin conflict with Sub-menu Newspaper theme

Have you cleared all your caches after the update to WP 6.1?
Have you disabled all Ultimate Member pages from caching both WP plugin caching and Server side caching?

Hi.
You can see the same problem on this other page running without cache:

When we activate Ultimate Member plugin the sub menus disappear.
We have been working on other pages with Ultimate Member and Super-Cache for several years, this is only happening since the update to WP 6.1
The problem with the sub-menus happens in all the pages of the website

Can we try something else?

Post your UM Settings -> Install Info here in the Forum.

Hello @wecareu01,

First of all, switch your site to the default WP theme. If the child menu appears, then the problem is in your theme. Theme authors often overwrite rather than extend the menu class.

You mean activate a theme like Twenty-Three ?

We’ve been using Ultimate Memeber with the Newspaper theme for years with no problem.
I have tried the previous versions of Newspaper (11.4.2) with UM and the sub menu does not show either.
Newspaper 11.4.2 works fine with UM and Worpress 6.0.3

I just need to do a wordpress downgrade on the test hosting to see that the problem is wordpress 6.1 and UM

Please just switch the theme to Twenty-Three so that we can be completely sure that this is not the Newspaper theme.

Before changing to Twenty-Three I’d like to try one more thing because when installing theme Twenty-Three, the testing website crashes.

Is it possible to downgrade from UM?
Now we are running UM 2.5.1.
