I am posting this problem here because I wonder if more people do have this strange problem. The plugin itself is working great so all credits to the plugin but we are experiencing very strange problems with the Porto theme.

We have tried multiple options for a calculator within WooCommerce but everytime the inspector console is giving us vague js errors. Sometimes caching, sometimes missing elements, sometimes js errors. We have debugged everything and the problem seems to be our Porto theme itself. When installing all of the calculator plugins on other websites with other themes it all works great, but never with websites having the Porto theme.

The strange thing is sometimes when refreshing a lot of times the calculator does work. But most of the time it’s giving errors in the console and is not working.

Hello @heijtec2

The issue is not caused by the theme active on your WordPress but by the “SiteGround Optimizer”.

Please, go to the settings page of our plugin, and configure it as follows:

1. Tick the “There is active an optimization plugin in WordPress” checkbox.
2. Select the “Classic” option for the “Script load method” attribute.
3. Tick the “Activate Javascript Cache” checkbox.
4. And finally, press the “Update” button.

Thanks for the quick response.

Your plugin is working perfectly except on Porto themes. We have tried the plugin on a site with Porto but without SiteGround Optimizer and the plugin still is giving exactly the same errors. So SiteGround Optimizer isn’t the problem.

Could you please deactivate the Siteground Optimizer plugin to verify that the problem is actually caused by a conflict with the theme?
