    Hi,
I had an issues, which I solved myself, but thought you should know.

I have found there is a plugin conflict between Yoast SEO and Essential Grid. The SEO Title and Meta Description would not save. Deactivating essential grid solved the issue. I don’t know if this a Yoast issue or essential grid issue, but I think you should look into it because both are popular plugins.

    My website software

    Essential Grid Version 2.2.4
    Yoast SEO Premium 7.2
    Yoast SEO: Local 7.2
    Wordpress 4.9.5
    Theme: Pro 2.0.4

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. A bug report is currently open in our development team for this issue. You can find and follow the progress of the report here: https://github.com/Yoast/wordpress-seo/issues/8681

We recommend you please provide as much information as you can provide directly to the GitHub issue so our development team can fix this in a future update.

Yeah, there is a conflict between this two plugin. I also have both the essential grid and yoast but the recent updates of this plugins causes yoast meta descriptions and keywords not to be saved.

I have to deactivate essential grid in order for me to saved the descriptions and keywords of my posts which is a complete hassle.

I really hope yoast and essential grid should work this out the soonest.
