    Howdy,

We use WebToffee’s GDPR cookie consent plugin (AKA CookieYes) on a few of our sites. When both PixelYourSite and the CookieYes plugin are active, there is some kind of conflict in the javascript dependency loaded from PixelYourSite. When clicking the “accept cookies” button in the cookie notification popup provided from CookieYes, the console generates the following code:

Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'indexOf')
        at Object.removeUrlDomain (public.js?ver=8.6.4:1103:24)
        at Object.compareUrl (public.js?ver=8.6.4:1118:30)
        at Object.<anonymous> (public.js?ver=8.6.4:1094:34)
        at Function.each (jquery.min.js?ver=3.6.0:2:3053)
        at HTMLAnchorElement.<anonymous> (public.js?ver=8.6.4:1093:23)
        at HTMLAnchorElement.dispatch (jquery.min.js?ver=3.6.0:2:43064)
        at HTMLAnchorElement.v.handle (jquery.min.js?ver=3.6.0:2:41048)

The file is question is here:
    [clientexample.com]/WP/wp-content/plugins/pixelyoursite-pro/dist/scripts/public.js?ver=8.6.4

This makes clicking “accept” impossible, meaning users cannot dismiss the notification about cookies. We’ve had to deactivate the PixelYourSite plugin for the time being, please let me know what if anything I can do to make these plugins compatible as we really need to use both.

If you use the paid plugin you need to contact us on our website directly, we can’t provide support here.

I use Pixel Your Site Premium and my website stopped working so my Cookies Yes plugin was deactivated. However, that plugin is a legal requirement for California and Europe. I live in California so I need a Cookie Plugin that will put me in compliance with California and Europe, at least in the UK.

Can you please suggest another Cookie plugin that will not conflict with PixelYuorSite Premium and will keep me in compliance?

    Hi Barbara,

If you have a paid license, please use our contact page for support: https://www.pixelyoursite.com/contact

WordPress doesn’t allow us to offer support for paid products on this forum.

Anyway, to answer your question, we have our own premium consent plugin at ConsentMagic.com and on the plugin’s Consent page you can find a few more that tare supported.

However, is not normal to have such a problem with a consent plugin, so we should look into it and find what is wrong. I will send you an email. It’s also a good idea to remove your email from this public message.

I noticed on your website that it said that PixelYourSite premium is compatible with 5 different GDPR cookie solutions but it only mentions one. Can you please tell me the name of the GDPR Cookie solutions that PixelYourSite Premium, which I paid $160 for, and the Pinterest PixelYourSite Plugin that I paid #120 for are compatible with?

Please, I don’t want to have to waste more money and deactivate these plugins.

    thank you very much,

Please don’t continue this conversation here, we CAN’T offer support for the paid plugin on this forum.

And I already answer your question, there is a Consent page inside the plugin (not the site), with more consent plugin.

And again, don’t let your email here, this is a public forum. Consider deleting it from both messages.

I also emailed you a few seconds ago, let’s discuss this further by email.
