plugin conflict has restricted all WordPress profile access
-
Hello everyone!! I have just installed WordPress for the first time and and absolutely loving it! But I’ve brought myself into a major boo-boo that I can’t get out of.
I installed a plugin called Gengo because I want to add several languages to my site. But once I enabled the default language as English all access to my WordPress profile as well as to the website is replaced with
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: get_currentuserinfo() in /home/benny/public_html/wp-content/plugins/gengo/gengo.php on line 1555
and trying to access the site directly gives meFatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in /home/benny/public_html/wp-includes/classes.php on line 38
. A solution at the Gengo forum is to disable other plugins until you get around the problem, but without access to my profile I can’t change anything! How can I alter the file codes to get around this problem? It’s quite serious since the entire site and its settings can’t be accessed…
Hopefully you can help me with this! I look forward to using this wonderful tool once I get used to it!
