Plugin conflict between 'Frontpage category filter' & 'Private articles'

after the installation of the plugin, private articles show up on the Frontpage despite the private option. it’s a big issue with the native private article option.
I had to include my private articles in a dedicated category for hiding its and don’t know if it’s a secure solution …
