I have found that there is a conflict when updating Sermon Manager to the newest version (2.2.0). As soon as I updated, my All-In-One Calendar by Time.ly is now having all of its CSS styles overridden by Sermon Manager. This is causing serious display issues with my calendar & I really need it fixed. I will have to either disable my sermons or find an older version of the plugin to roll back to until this is fixed. Your assistance is much appreciated. This issue is occurring on https://ncfchurch.net as well as some other sites I work with.

    Hi @caricreates,

    Thanks for letting us know.

Could you please let us know:

    1. Whether you are using the latest version, being 2.3?
    2. If you go into the Sermon Manager settings, and disable the new player, does the issue still occur on your events pages?

    Thanks,
    Igor

I updated Sermon Manager to 2.3, tested, and the issue was still there. Next, I went into the Sermon Manager settings & checked the box “Use old audio player”, then checked my calendar and it did display correctly without the style issues occurring. This is a relief. Please let me know if you are able to get the new player to work without conflicting the calendar, as I definitely like the new player best. Thank you for the assistance!

    Hey @caricreates,

Great, glad its sorted out for now, we’ll look into that conflict and make sure it’s fixed. I will say this though, sometimes it’s not our plugin that might cause the issues, it could be another plugins coding, but we will test it and treat it as something that’s on our end of course.

We’ll let you know how it goes.

If it helps any, when the issue began, when I would use “Inspect” in the Chrome browser to look at my calendar page details, suddenly there were CSS classes like “.plyr” showing up all over the place.

    Hey @caricreates,

    Thank you for your patience.

We have added a fix for this in the latest release (2.3.2).

Can you please try again the new player and report if it works now?

I updated Sermon Manager to 2.3.2 and was able to allow the new player without any problems occurring in my calendars. Thanks for your work & assistance on this!

By the way, I noticed in your changelog that you also worked to get the Bib.ly verses displaying on SSL – just an fyi, mine still are not working. They just pop up & say “Loading…”.

Thanks for all your efforts – you guys are great to provide this awesome tool for sermons!

    Hey @caricreates,

Are you maybe using ESV as the Bible version?
If you are, can you please change to some other version and test again?

All other versions except ESV should work now. (At least they did on our tests – this might be a new bug)

Yes, that did the trick. We were using ESV, and I have now changed it to KJV and the verses are popping up. Thank you!

Glad to hear that it works. Marking as resolved.
