[Plugin: Configure SMTP] Contact Form 7: Failed to send cause of Akismet

    It was great ever plug-in that we used but we realised a bug today!

    I was working great at the begining but later today gives error failed to send email cause of Akismet spam. So I deleted Akismet but it gives same error. I thought first contact form 7 is not working properly, but when i research, the problem is Configure SMTP. When I change that plugin with alternative one, it works like a charm. Somehow, after sent many emails, its not sending more and Contact Form 7 gives that error.

    But I am unhappy because I like Configure SMTP gmail function. I hope you solve that problem soon.

    I get an error message with an orange border even though I don’t use Akismet.

    I read all but I don’t have installed cache plug-in (also not my server caching) but still its occur.

    And if a user connect our site over proxy server; will be get same error? Because we realised that just some users get this spam message. I really want to know what can I do; we get av. 50 mails in a day and av. 10 mails get this error ??

    If you cache on the proxy server, it could be the same result. Do garbage collection frequently.

    I have what I think is a virus. I have been receiving about 3 spam comments every minute. I installed the akismet plug in and the comments stop but then I can longer log into my blog. The only way I can get back into my blog is by going into my FTP folder and deleting the akismet plug in. What do I do
