    I’m the creator of Compression WP.

    Basically what the plugin does is it enables GZIP compression on your website which compresses the data before it is sent to the web browser, which should minimise the amount of data transferred.

    If you use https://www.whatsmyip.org/http_compression/ , you should see that the file size of your page is significantly smaller. When I used this tool on my test site, there was a data saving of around 71%.
