[Plugin: Comprehensive Google Map Plugin] Local Version of Google Maps and Custom Marker Text

  • Hey there,

    when using your really great plugin, it shows the text in english. (like “directions to” in the marker popup. Is there a setting to change the google maps server from english to e.g. the german version?

    Secondly, i wanted to ask if i can specify the text in the marker bubble?
    My plan is to show our company location on google maps based on latitude/longitude, because using the address will mess up the marker location.

    Hi, I need to find time to do localisation ??

    Regarding lat/long , you can set location based on lat/long instead of address, that’s fine

    Yeah, i know that, but if i set the location based on lat/long, it will display the lat/long in the pin pubble, but i would like to have our address there ??

    Regarding the localisation, i would help you with the german part ??

    Believe it or not I already have a working patch for the custom marker bubble text. I just need the time to apply it. A friend of mine honza has contributed it.

    I figured I’d add my question here as it’s related. Basically I need to be able to customise the pin bubble (to include an image – will that be possible?) and also have it displayed by default. Can I already do that? If not, will you be implementing these features?

    ATM info bubble image is not possible. Not that it is a bad idea, it is a good one, its just I need to get to it ??

    Hi, please update to 6.0.21.

    Now you can set the language of the generated map images.

    Hey Alexander,

    after the update to 6.0.21, i see in the upper right the “roadmap/hybrid/satellite” thing translated.

    Is the “Directions from:” “Directions to” in the Marker Bubble on side of your plugin or is this from Google Maps?

    Thats where I need PO files, to translate “Directions from:” “Directions to” …. Short answer – its on side of my plugin
