[Plugin: Codepress Admin Columns] Search Results not Sorting

    Hello, Love this plug-in its what I’ve been looking for and now I don’t have teach myself php.

    I have read your other support questions and still can’t find an answer

    I have purchased the sorting ad on, while using admin search to get my list of posts, then I sort by my custom date field, using your plug in, and the posts disappear “no post found” What am I doing wrong or what can I do to fix this?

    All would like is to sort the custom date field with a certain found set. If this can’t be done the plug in is great but not useful to me. Thanks

    Hi Jendinsho,

    I have tested it and it should work fine. Let me see if we can solve this.

    A couple of things you could check:

    1. Is it a valid date format you are saving in your custom fields?
    Should be something like “2012-09-01 06:32” or “2012-09-01”. You can check this by going to your post and lookup the value of your custom-date-field in the “Custom Fields” Metabox. ( make sure your screen options “Custom Fields” is checked )

    2. Is the custom field type set to “Date”?
    Go to the Admin Columns settings page and check if the “Field Type:” of the custom field is set to “Date”.
