• Hi there,

I tried first to install ClickDesk using the script code to my footer.php but I was noticing that it was conflicting with my theme.

I really want to use it but even when I use the plugin rather than the script code, it still causes something strange to happen.. page loads fine, then my background loads “last” and covers “all the content” (but only when ClickDesk is installed.)

Remove ClickDesk, then have no live chat, but everything works fine.

Any ideas on how I can troubleshoot this? It’s had me stumped all day..

My site is not “normal” so I don’t want anyone else to be swayed either way by my troubleshooting question.. I’m also hosting my content on Amazon Cloudfront and have W3 Total Cache installed..

    Hi Happyches,

Can you please let me know the URL of your blog and the wordpress version you are using?
Please write to support at clickdesk.com and one of our engineers shall look into it.

    Thanks

I too have had this problem with the plugin on a News Theme from Studiopress using wp3.3.1

    My host found this error

Jan 18 07:55:02 montrose suhosin[13616]: ALERT – script tried to increase memory_limit to 268435456 bytes which is above the allowed value (attacker ‘60.228.80.101’, file ‘/home/talkingi/public_html/wp-admin/admin.php’, line 109)

This error allowed the site to load a few pages then crash. We uninstalled all plugins then one by one reactivated till we crashed it again immediately after activating this plugin.

Great app but not if it kills the site
