I am using this plugin on https://www.corspecops.com to collect additional user data, as well as to provide a captcha to prevent fake users.

Last night, I was doing monthly maintenance. One of the updates was this plugin. When I updated, everything seemed ok. Today, I’ve received multiple messages from individuals who have tried to sign up, and it always tells them their captcha is invalid. I tried signing up a dummy account, and got (something resembling) the following:

    true
    Error: Captcha is incorrect.

I switched the captcha from the simple captcha to the RECaptcha, and I got the same result.

I’m wondering why it’s printing “true” at the top – was this a debugging/testing thing that just got left in? Either way, I don’t like leaving my site open for anyone to register without a captcha.

    Thanks.

Are you sure you are using my plug-in for the captcha?
    My plug-in writes this error:

ERROR: Typed code is not correct.

Not what you wrote and neither prints a boolean.

    Please double check.

I think you confused with another plug-in, try to disable mine and see if you still see that error.
