Plugin – Child Theme Conflict – Editor not usable

  • As soon as i activate the plugin, i’m not longer able to save the functions.php file of my child theme with the WordPress > Appearance > Editor.

    I just get the message (Google translated):
    “It was not possible to communicate with the website to check for fatal errors, so the PHP change was undone. You will need to upload your modified PHP file by other means, such as SFTP.”

  • Try enabling “Allow Administrators” (and possibly “Allow REST API Access”) in the Password Protected settings.
