Plugin checks out products that are not in stock

Same issue, shows all items out off stock? Is there an option to switch this feature off in the pro version?

This isn’t a bug in my book and is a key feature to how a POS should work.

In most situations, if any POS is physically selling an item that you’re out of stock of, your stock numbers are off (or possibly not updated for a shipment that just got delivered, countless scenarios.)

You ideally want the system to oversell physical items. (Why deny the sell because you need to enter stock in first?) Later, generate a report of items in the negative, count your shelf, and fix. This is a very common practice in retail stores, and helps you point out why your items are overselling in the first place. Anyone familiar with SAP on a corporate level has probably done a NIJ or two.

Thanks for your input on the issue of ‘out of stock’ sales. An option for hiding ‘out of stock’ items has been scheduled for version 0.5 as part of a larger Products panel update.

In the meantime, DEV1SE is correct, I have opted for letting the cashier decide which items are available for purchase and which items are not.
