Plugin Changes My Font Color / Weight In Safari

Greetings!
I was very much looking forward to using the Skeletonisr plugin. However, I encountered a strange issue when I activated the plugin – all of the fonts on my WordPress site seemed to “dim” after plugin activation. This was most noticeable in Safari. My site uses a gray font on a white background, and the gray font became lighter in color and weight, making it harder to read. I have deactivated the plugin, since I don’t want the aesthetics of my site to be compromised. Are there any fixes for this issue?
