I’m having trouble finding out how to include user information for notifications triggered by plugin activities (installation, updated, deactivated, etc). We have several administrators and I’d like to be notified about which one is making these changes.

Unfortunately, this is not possible at the moment – these triggers don’t have any context of the user making that change.

The reason for that is because plugins often are handled programmatically or via WP CLI, and there’s no user involved in this case.

    Thanks Kuba!

For anyone else experiencing this issue I found a workaround by cross-referencing the time of the plugin change notification provided by this plugin and notifications from a security plugin I’m using to track logins. Works well enough in my situation.
