Hello, as our website was experiencing some issues we ran a health check which yielded a critical issue:

The REST API request failed due to an error.
Error: [] cURL error 28: Operation timed out after 10001 milliseconds with 0 bytes received

We deactivated all our plugins and the error disappeared. We reactivated all our plugins one by one. When reactivation your plugin (booster free version) the error popped back up. So it is clear that your plugin is causing this issue.

Can you please investigate why this is the case and help us solve this?

Please also note that your plugin severely slows down our website. When not active it loads significantly faster.

We are using the following modules:
    Coupon Code Generator
    Custom Emails
    Email Options
    Export
    My Account
    Product Bulk Meta Editor
    Product Input Fields
    Product Tabs
    SKU
    Stock
    Tax Display

    Thank you in advance

  • Hello,

I’ve got the same issue as reported by @szch

“A PHP session was created by a session_start() function call. This interferes with REST API and loopback requests. The session should be closed by session_write_close() before making any HTTP requests.”

I’ve deactivated all the plugins and the errors disappear. When activating the booster plugin the errors show up again.

    Can you please check it?

    Thank you very much
    Kind Regards
    Marco

    Hi @szch, @emmeten

    Please try the following steps.

    1) Go to Booster settings
    2) Go to “Emails and Misc”
    3) Click on “Emails and Misc” –> “General” setting
    4) Change “Session Type in Booster” to “WC Sessions” (it should have been set to “Standard PHP sessions”).

Let us know if you have further queries.

    Hi @gravid7

thank you for your support. It works.

by the way, I’ve seen there’s the option to “Enable Read and Close parameter on session_start(). “. It works as well.

    Have a nice day
    Marco
