I just upgraded to the newest version of WP Smush on all of my sites, and it caused me to get nothing but blank pages for every page on every site. After moving the wp-smushit folder out of /plugins everything started working fine again, and the error logs are showing the below error.

[14-Apr-2015 05:09:08 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_get_current_user() in /home/user/public_html/w/wp-includes/capabilities.php on line 1356

Do you know why this would be happening or how I would go about fixing it?

  • I got a similar error via BBPress on dancemusicnw.com (root address hidden on public forum):

Warning: in_array() expects parameter 2 to be array, null given in /***/***/***/wp-content/plugins/bbpress/includes/common/functions.php on line 1446

    Help!

Oh we managed to find the plugin conflict issue. Please update to 2.0.4, it should solve it for you.

Success! I uploaded the newest version of WP Smush overtop of the old versions, moved the folders back into /plugins, and everything seems to be working now.

    Thanks for the speedy fix!
