    Hi,

Upon updating the plugin (I updated from version 1.2.0 to 3.1.1), all the single views on my client site (davisav.staging.wpengine.com) resulted in 400 errors: https://files.builtbygood.co/U8rC/49BsArJC

Then, I got a notice in the WP Dashboard from the plugin to “Check Permalink Settings!”

Before updating any settings, these were my settings:
    Screenshot 1 of 2: https://files.builtbygood.co/vgmM/1Gwy5xv2
    Screenshot 2 of 2: https://files.builtbygood.co/EgA7/52nPQznP

I went to my Permalink settings and it didn’t appear as though anything had changed. But to be safe, I selected “Custom Structure” (it was on Post Name, but /%postname%/ was the Custom Structure so I just selected it, thinking they are the same thing (Post Name == /%postname%/)).

Upon saving the Permalinks, two things happened:

    1. It appears to have re-selected Post Name all by itself: https://files.builtbygood.co/jkpz/5202JC19

    2. All URLs on my site now 301 redirect to the homepage.

If flush_rewrite_rule is written in a theme or the like, that problem may occur.

@toro_unit flush_rewrite_rule isn’t written in the theme, although I did a search through all the plugin files and found a few plugins containing that function:

    1. Gravity Forms
    2. Custom Post Type Permalinks
    3. WCK Custom Fields and Custom Post Types
    4. WordPress SEO by Yoast
    5. Migrate DB Pro

    What do I do?

    Checking in here.

I reverted back to my original version of CPT Permalinks (1.2.0) and updated one version at a time.

It appears version 2.1.1 introduced this bug.

    Any ideas?
