• I have both the most recent version of WordPress and of PilotPress but I keep getting a critical error when trying to login through wp-admin and receiving a Tech Issue email from WordPress. I have deactivated the PilotPress plugin, cleared the cache, and all is fixed. Problem is, I can’t have the plugin deactivated. It is in use and a big part of our site and product deliveries. Please help!

    Howdy!

Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, PilotPress.

First, visit your website (https://trueliteracy.in/) and check for any visible issues. Next, visit the page where the error was caught (https://trueliteracy.in/wp-login.php?wpe-login=true) and check for any visible issues.

Please contact your host for assistance with investigating this issue further.

If your site appears broken and you can’t access your dashboard normally, WordPress now has a special “recovery mode”. This lets you safely login to your dashboard and investigate further.

    https://trueliteracy.in/wp-login.php?action=enter_recovery_mode&rm_token=BB7WVUyVyuhD6hxoki9MWe&rm_key=qNGOvj4jZ2tX6Lvu5ZyoDR

To keep your site safe, this link will expire in 1 day. Don’t worry about that, though: a new link will be emailed to you if the error occurs again after it expires.

When seeking help with this issue, you may be asked for some of the following information:
    WordPress version 5.9.2
    Current theme: eCademy (version 4.9.2)
    Current plugin: PilotPress (version 2.0.25)
    PHP version 8.0.16

  • Can you please chat into our Support department so we can get a ticket created for this error? The easiest way is from within your Ontraport account, by clicking the ? “help” icon in the bottom right, then clicking on “Contact Support”. There will be a link there to chat in to our team.

Let them know Frank has the details of the error and I need the ticket created for our dev team. They will contact me and I’ll fill in the details you provided here so you don’t have to repeat it all via chat.

I have the same error the past few months. Did this get resolved for you?

You can also chat in from https://ontraport.com A chat icon will appear in the lower right. We will need your Ontraport account number, so have it handy if you are not logging in from within the account.

We need to be able to view your Ontraport account as well as your WP site to correct this, so logging a ticket with our support team is definitely required.

I did speak with op chat/ live support just now and mentioned this thread.? They didn’t really know what to do.? Suggested I change my theme.? Which I did.? Now wp is out of recovery mode.? However this has been an ongoing?issue over the past month or more.? Maybe this will work!

Sorry about that. I’ll find the ticket and escalate it so we can investigate and see exactly what is going on.

    Hi @kailajune

I grabbed the ticket and requested some information. If you can provide the information on the ticket we’ll use it to investigate and resolve the issue.

Thank you for the complete description of the error you are seeing and the correspondence you received from WordPress. It’s always very helpful to have all of the information like that!

We have a new release written and being tested now. I would expect that the new version will be available within a week.

Version 2.0.26 was released on 4/25/22 to address this issue:

    == Changelog ==
    += 2.0.26 =
+* Fixed a PHP error involving undefined user roles arrays

Please upgrade your PilotPress plugin using your WordPress backend (the regular update process).
