[Plugin: Category Posts Widget] wrap text around image & excerpt length control

I’m using the Category Posts Widget and I’d like the text to wrap around the image, so the image is to one side and the text is right next to it on the same line.

also, there is an excerpt length control measure on the widget, but it’s obviously not working. i have it currently set at 20 words, and the entire excerpt appears.
